Finance & Debt Support Officer
$55 000 per annum + super
The position…
Coordinates and monitors finance and debt management activities, and support the Coordinator Finance and Debt Management, Parking and Traffic Branch, in budgeting and reporting. You will coordinate and monitor all the Branch’s finance related matters, including purchasing, petty cash, purchase orders via IP5, purchasing card, preparation of invoices and monitoring of revenue, accounts receivables authorisations, SML codes, and cash receipts. The position maintains quality financial systems management and business reporting practices that comply with best practice standards, audit and Corporate Finance requirements.
You will have…
• Experience in Accounting/business and/or relevant experience in debt management or other relevant field;
• Experience in assisting with analysis, review, development, implementation and monitoring process improvements, and the reporting and monitoring of performance against targets;
• Ability to maintain high financial standards and undertake complex tasks within agreed deadlines;
• Experience in cost accounting, including budgeting. Financial analysis and reporting in a corporate environment;
• Ability to assist with planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating projects.
